Securitize Capital has decided to tokenize KKR’s  – an asset management organization with a $491B valuation – Health Care Strategic Growth Fund II on the blockchain of Avalanche. On 13th September, in a news, Wilfred Daye – Securitize Capital’s head – categorized the act of tokenizing HCSG II as an exceptional advancement.

KKR Tokenizes Its Health Care Fund on Avalanche

As per him, it facilitated users with access to the market of private equities. This innovation of tokenization helps the investors to possess a token denoting a $4B share in the healthcare-related fund. This fund is responsible for investing in twenty-three European as well as North American organizations dealing with the sectors of medical, social sciences, and pharmaceuticals.

Any investing company that wants to purchase the Securitize-based HCSG II Fund, needs to comply with the rules of registering a passport and go through a liveness test – in which a proper review is conducted.

They also require providing taxes and information regarding themselves. Moreover, they need to recompense 0.50% in management charges.

Emin Gün Sirer, Ava Labs’ creator and CEO, called this event of tokenization a landmark in the history of the blockchain industry by providing the facility of accessing blockchain for physical world assets.  KKR has stated about the blockchain tokenization process for real-world-based assets that they have also lessened the percentage of investment minimums as well as enhanced the digital onboarding of the investors as well as the compliance protocols.

It has enhanced the onboarding according to the regulations of the protocol by the virtual world in investment entities. It has also maximized the liquidity of money exchange in line with the security principles. Raiffeisen Bank International’s Blockchain Research Hub and Boston Consultant Group (BCG) have collectively attempted to contemplate how an investor can get the capability to grab a massive share of assets.

Securities’ Major Proportion May Be Tokenized Till 2030

The results of their analysis have been reported by both.  Raiffeisen Bank International’s Blockchain Research Hub professed that up till 2030 majority of the securities will get tokenized. BCG claimed that by the year 2030, most probably the amount of approximately $16.1T in the form of illiquid assets will get tokenized.
